So here it is my lyric poem, A set of words that burn within, A story untold to the world, Of a broken little girl so terribly cold,
Let me start years ago when she was in fifth grade, She was at home with a smile that seemed would never fade, Playing a tune on the piano so soft and sweet, When her mother brought her siblings into the room, A sad look on her face with tear filled eyes, Her father standing by the door as her mother broke and shook with cries, And he told them that this couldn’t work he was going to leave,
